Located just north of downtown Los Angeles, Silver Lake was named after Board Commissioner Herman Silver, who was instrumental in the creation of the large water reservoir at the center of the neighborhood.
Silver Lake also has a rich movie history, Walt Disney built his first large studio at the corner of Griffith Park Boulevard and Hyperion Avenue, the studio of early Western films' star Tom Mix was located on Glendale Boulevard, and you can still walk the famous flight of stairs in Laurel and Hardy's film The Music Box.
We converted the space from a ground-floor retail shop into a place filled with light and pleasing contours. You’ll recognize our signature tables and wishbone chairs, and discover the unique teal-colored plant shelves and a custom oak clad counter on which our viennoiseries and breads are displayed. Expect groundbreaking products to come out of our soon to open Silverlake outpost!
